About UsWe met in 2012 when Erika started working at jetBlue Airways. We formed a fast friendship based on a love of travel, silly jokes, sarcastic jabs at each other at work and poorly translated foreign language texts. After a few fun jetBlue outings, a hilarious prank Christmas gift and a group trip to Hawaii there was a realization that maybe this was more than friendship. Our romance started pretty normally with a few coffee dates, movies and dinners but we agreed the best way to see how serious our relationship could be, would be to take a trip around the world together! From Tokyo to Istanbul, then to Venice and Vienna. It was a whirlwind of adventure and excitement. This was the trip where we truly fell in love. A year later, at the top of Machu Picchu, the ideas of a future together were becoming all the more clear and with the clouds slowly parting over the ancient valley it was agreed that this might be something that could last a lifetime. David, of course didn't actually pop the question until a few months later but he knew the answer would be an absolute yes!! We decided to get married in Hawaii during the first week of February because it will be our third year in a row returning to Hawaii during this time of year. We are planning a sunset wedding on Oneloa Beach on the island of Maui surrounded by our immediate family and the romantic crashing of waves as we promise to be together forever as man and wife.
